After a long wait Nick Parkyn, Audiologist at Falls of Sound Indooroopilly, received the long anticipated news…It’s a baby Boy!!! Woohoo…
In Nick’s own words…
“I took 2 weeks annual leave from the due date, but the baby was 2 weeks late and I had to rush to the hospital on the afternoon of my first day back at work! Thanks for being so understanding Katia and Anne for the headache with appointments etc. Hopefully he will be more compliant in life than he was in the womb!
We have pretty much settled on Charlie John Rapine Parkyn. The middle names are his grandfather’s. Born 8.4 lbs at 2 minutes to midnight on Monday 9th, just in time to share a birthday with his great grandfather! He was a natural birth this time so Mum is recovering very well.
I am very happy to say he passed his newborn screening. Mum and bub were discharged from Royal Brisbane this yesterday morning, so I am excited to see them at home in the nursery.”
