Take 3 Fundraising initiative

Take 3 Fundraising initiative.

One of the most rewarding aspects of being an independent clinic is being an active part of the community. This can be educating people on hearing loss, or it means putting our name to charitable efforts. One particular charity close to our hearts is Take 3

Why Take 3.

Take 3 is an Australian charity focused on cleaning up our waters with a simple idea. Every time you go to a beach or waterway, take 3 pieces of rubbish with you. And there, you’ve already made a difference. If we all take this kind of mindset, we can help prevent wildlife from being killed by plastic.

Our connection with water.

So why this particular charity? Our Falls of Sound founder, Katia, loves the water. She and her family have always been close to water, even living on a boat for some time. As such, the family is very fond of the waterways and the wildlife they hold. They regularly participate in charities and fundraisers for water conservation, and this time have chosen to support Take 3.

CEO clean-up.

Take 3 is currently organising a “virtual CEO clean-up” event. This is where businesses – such as Falls of Sound – take the lead in cleaning up our waters. This includes raising awareness, fundraising and physically getting out there to clean up beaches, parks and waterways. Katia and Peter are proud to be a part of this initiative and do their bit to help Australian waters.
