Once again, it is that time of year. August 20-26, the last full week of the month, is ‘Hearing Awareness Week’ in Australia. As you can imagine, this is a very special time for us at ‘Falls of Sound.’ We find it very satisfying to see the entire country making an effort to take hearing loss as seriously as we do every day.
In celebration, we would like for you and a guest to join us for an afternoon of fun and information. The day will begin with a short introductory talk about general hearing issues from one of our audiologist’s. Following this, you can choose to join any of the four interactive workshops that we will be holding.
Planned subjects include:
- The Proper Cleaning Of Your Hearing Aid
- Tinnitus, What Is That Buzz
- General Hearing Issues
- Technology and Accessories
If this isn’t enticing enough, we know everybody likes to eat. Following all the talk there will delightful delicacies served. We think of it as satisfying both your hunger for knowledge and appetite for good food all in one fell swoop.
Don’t eat and run though, there will be more to come. The day will be concluded with you and your guest going into the draw to win one of our two lucky door prizes. They are just our way of saying thank you for letting us spend some time getting to know you a little better.
Seating is limited at both of our locations. So, RSVP early to reserve seats for you and those you would like to bring along. Last year the room filled up quickly. So, don’t wait. We look forward to seeing you there.
