It has never been more important to communicate with your loved ones than today! Falls of Sound is classified as an essential service. What does that mean for you? Falls of Sound can continue to operate and see patients at any time following government regulations. More than anything, we want you to feel safe and comfortable in looking after your hearing health. In continuation of providing support during this time, several service options are available to you and listed below.
In-person clinic visits
Clinics are open as essential services so that you can come in for appointments or walk-ins as usual. Our team members will be wearing face masks/face shields and regularly sanitising their hands. Where possible, we will continue to adhere to a 1.5m social distance. At this time, we ask that you wear a face mask (unless exempted) and check in using the QR code. Card payments or bank transfers are also preferred to limit contact points.
If you wish to avoid overlap with another patient, you are welcome to wait for your appointment outside the clinic. Just call us to let us know you have arrived, and we will bring you in when ready.
“Drive-through” service
A service that will allow us to look after you without physically coming inside the clinic. This service includes the purchase of hearing aid accessories, batteries and off-the-shelf items such as wax drops or TV headsets. Hearing aid clean, check and repairs can also be arranged with this service. Please call your Falls of Sound clinic to book a time for our team to meet you outside.
Home pick-up/delivery
Our team can arrange to come to your house to pick up hearing aids or deliver items to you. If you need to isolate or are avoiding leaving the house, we can come to you. We can leave or pick up items in a location of your choice (e.g. letterbox, front porch). This service is available for hearing aid cleaning, check and repairs, or purchase of accessories and batteries. Please note a call-out fee will be applied. Please call the clinic to arrange a time to do a pick-up/delivery.
Postal delivery
Where a pick-up/delivery cannot be organised for purchased goods, we can arrange a courier delivery. Depending on the products being sent, we will use regular post, express post or a private courier. Please note where the regular post cannot be used, a posting fee will be applied for this service.
